Casino Guru Awards partner with Ethical Gambling Forum to champion transparency and player protection

Casino Guru is proud to announce a strategic partnership with the Ethical Gambling Forum (EGF), a leading industry event dedicated to responsible gambling, sustainability, and ethical business practices. This collaboration marks a significant step forward in promoting ethics, transparency, responsible gambling, and player protection across the iGaming industry.
As part of this collaboration, Casino Guru Awards will take center stage during the upcoming Ethical Gambling Forum conference, bringing the awards process directly into an environment that unites stakeholders committed to improving industry standards and protecting players.
On April 30 and May 1, Casino Guru will host an exclusive judges’ gathering during the conference week. This working session will bring together the Awards jury to actively evaluate shortlisted nominees. As part of the process, judges will conduct direct calls with shortlisted candidates, enabling deeper insight into their operations, values, and commitment to responsible gambling. This hands-on evaluation approach ensures that the Awards remain rigorous, transparent, and truly merit-based.
In addition, Casino Guru will host a panel discussion at the conference, featuring Awards judges and industry experts. The panel will explore the importance of independent evaluation, ethical standards in iGaming, and the role of initiatives like the Casino Guru Awards in shaping a safer and more transparent gambling environment.
“This partnership with the Ethical Gambling Forum is a natural fit,” said Daniela Sliva, PR & Creative Projects Director at Casino Guru. “We share the same core values: ethics, transparency, responsible gambling, and player protection. We are not only increasing transparency but also creating meaningful dialogue between judges and nominees. The ability for our judges to engage directly with shortlisted candidates adds an extra layer of integrity and depth to the evaluation process, which is something that truly sets the Casino Guru Awards apart.”
Jo Abergel, Co-Founder of the Ethical Gambling Forum remarked, “Partnering with Casino Guru for the Leeds event is an important step in amplifying the message that being held up to scrutiny must sit at the heart of our industry’s future. Bringing our organisations together creates the space for honest dialogue and meaningful progress, and we are delighted to collaborate with an organisation equally committed to raising the bar for player protection and industry integrity.”
The collaboration highlights a shared mission between Casino Guru and EGF: to elevate industry standards and support operators and organizations that genuinely prioritize player well-being. By integrating the Casino Guru Awards judging process into the Ethical Gambling Forum, both organizations aim to foster open dialogue, encourage accountability, and celebrate those who lead by example.
