SiGMA World Rome: badges, trains and the evening programme for 2-5 November

SiGMA World runs from Monday 2 to Thursday 5 November at Fiera Roma, on Via Portuense between the city and Fiumicino airport. The organiser expects 30,000 delegates and lists 1,200+ sponsors and exhibitors, five conference stages and 550 speakers. Four events share the venue: SiGMA for gaming, AIBC for AI and blockchain, FX World for financial markets and AGS for affiliate marketing.

The exhibition is open Tuesday to Thursday from 10:00 to 18:00. Conference sessions run from 11:00 to 16:00 on Tuesday and Wednesday and until 18:00 on Thursday, according to the official agenda.

Badges can be collected at Fiumicino airport on Sunday 1 November in Terminal 1, or on Monday in Terminals 1 and 3, from 09:00 to 21:00. In the city, Lanterna di Fuksas on Via Tomacelli 157 hands out badges on Monday from 10:00 to 22:00. Affiliates can request a free pass through SiGMA customer support, and casino operators receive a free Standard pass.

For delegates staying in the centre, SiGMA recommends the FL1 train. The line stops at Fiera di Roma, and a ticket from the city costs €1.50, according to Fiera Roma. A free shuttle links the station with the main entrance. A taxi from Fiumicino airport to the venue has a fixed fare of €26.

One warning for travellers. Because of works at Roma Ostiense and Tuscolana, Trenitalia has cancelled several late-night trains between Roma Termini and Fiumicino airport from 2 to 6 November. Check the Trenitalia app before taking an airport train.

Most of the evening programme is in the city. Four award nights are held at Corsie Sistine di Santo Spirito in Sassia, near the Vatican, each starting at 20:00 between Monday and Thursday. Around them sit partner events: the ABC Connect Meetup on Monday, the ANS Rome networking dinner for affiliates on Wednesday and the AWSensation party on Thursday. Several are invitation-only and need approval from the host.
