SOFTSWISS Helps Operators Save €15M in 2025

SOFTSWISS Helps Operators Save €15M in 2025 news featured image

30 September 2025, Malta – SOFTSWISS, a global tech provider of iGaming software solutions, reports strong results from its Anti-Fraud team for 2025, highlighting its ongoing commitment to help operators create a more secure operating environment.

The SOFTSWISS Anti-Fraud team played a pivotal role in safeguarding operations, addressing complex cases with growing efficiency and ensuring a safer environment for operators and players.

From January through August 2025, the Anti-Fraud team:

    • Prevented over €15 million in fraudulent transactions

    • Closed more than 56,000 tasks

    • Processed 70 player complaints submitted to gaming regulators and forums

While fraudulent behaviour patterns are largely similar to those seen in previous years, a new trend has emerged involving artificial intelligence. According to the SumSub Identity Fraud Report 2024–2025, the use of AI-generated deepfakes to bypass verification has become a growing challenge. SOFTSWISS is strengthening its internal tools and processes to address this emerging threat.

“This year, our team not only safeguarded €15 million for our clients but also handled tens of thousands of cases with precision and responsibility. Fraud tactics are evolving, but so are our secure data protection practices. For operators, this means a safer, more transparent environment to build trust and long-term success.”
    — Ilya Nesterov, Anti-Fraud Team Lead at SOFTSWISS
