David Hopkins joins Yggdrasil as Chief Transformation Officer

MALTA – 7 OCTOBER 2026 - Yggdrasil Gaming is delighted to announce the appointment of David Hopkins as Chief Transformation Officer, a major senior hire as the business moves into the next phase of its growth.  

David brings extensive experience from some of the largest organizations in global gaming, including Flutter and Entain, with a strong track record of leading transformation across complex, high-growth businesses. 

His appointment marks an important evolution for Yggdrasil. Over the past few years, the business has invested heavily in disruptive innovation, building the technology, tools and operating models behind its strategy. The focus now shifts to productionising that innovation - scaling it, commercializing it and unlocking its full potential. 

David will work across the entire organization - Product, Technology, Commercial, Marketing, Finance and Legal - to simplify and streamline how Yggdrasil operates and create a highly effective model for execution and growth. 

Central to his mandate will be Yggdrasil’s following strategic pillars: Game in a Box™, Studio in a Box™ and YGG Masters. David will help ensure that each has the structure, capability, and commercial focus required to scale successfully and deliver sustainable long-term value.
