21 casino affiliate programmes read: what "no negative carryover" does and does not cover

Mother of Ads, a news site covering the European iGaming market for operators, affiliates and suppliers, has published an analysis of the terms of 21 casino affiliate programmes, read as published on 29 October 2026. The programmes are not named. For each one the team read the homepage, the commission page, the FAQ and the terms, then its card on StatsDrone. It did not test payouts, support or tracking, so the analysis is not a ranking.

Fifteen of the 21 promise in writing not to carry a negative balance into the next month. Six of those fifteen can still carry over losses linked to fraud, and nine cap the promise, five of them at €10,000. Only three programmes show a CPA figure on their own homepage, and none gives one in the terms the team read. Two more show a figure only on a listing card on a third-party site.

On payouts, all 21 settle by calendar month, and six commit in their terms to a payment date in the first half of the following month. At least eleven list a €100 minimum payout. One programme asks for the invoice within 30 days and pays within 30 days of receiving it, so September’s commission can arrive as late as the end of November.

On reporting, nineteen of the 21 show day-level stats on their StatsDrone cards, three of them for traffic only. One shows real-time stats and none shows player-level data. Eight of those cards were last updated in 2022 or 2023.

The analysis ends with five questions to put to a programme in writing before signing. Which CPA applies to the affiliate’s GEO and traffic source? Is there a carryover threshold, and does it apply per player or to the whole balance? What is the minimum payout for the chosen payment method? On what date is commission paid, counted from month end or from the invoice? Is there a time limit on RevShare?

The work covers published terms only. The market-specific regional terms that some operators publish are not included.

The full analysis, with the table of exceptions, is at https://motherofads.com/industry/no-negative-carryover-15-of-21-promise-it-check-the-footnotes/
