BF Games adopts two honey badgers at Exmoor Zoo to mark the launch of Honey Beast
BF Games has symbolically adopted a pair of honey badgers at Exmoor Zoo in North Devon, England. The adoption coincides with the launch of the futuristic-themed slot Honey Beast, which arrived on 7 October 2026.
A slot starring a honey badger as its main character was a reason to do something for the real-life animals. To mark the debut, BF Games is helping to look after a couple living at Exmoor Zoo: Mr & Mrs “Stoffel”.
Their keepers named them after Stoffel, the honey badger famous on YouTube for his escape acts. The pair are easily among the zoo’s most intelligent and mischievous residents. They are known for rolling metal dustbins and pacing large stones around their enclosure at night, and they are fearless, clever, and as unstoppable as Honey Beast’s on-screen hero.
The adoption fee helps cover the pair’s daily upkeep and treats, including their favourite dabs of honey.
Radosław Biernat, Head of Marketing at BF Games and the originator of the initiative, said:
“Our team had so much fun creating the cheeky, fearless hero in Honey Beast, so when we found out Exmoor Zoo was home to a real-life duo with the exact same energetic personality, we couldn’t resist. We are happy to support them, and the adoption is our way of saying thank you to the keepers who look after them every day.”
About Honey Beast
Honey Beast is played on 6 reels and 4 rows, with 4,096 ways to win and a max win potential of 5,525x.
The main gameplay revolves around the Collector. It gathers the value of each bonus symbol on the reels, so players can always see what is at stake. Coin symbols go up to 10x. Reward symbols come in three sizes: Minor at 25x, Major at 250x and Grand at 2,500x.
Coin and Reward symbols can land in both the base game and the bonus round, so the action is not limited to the bonus. When two Collectors land together, each one collects and the wins add up.
Three Scatter symbols open the Honey Money Games bonus round with 2, 3, 5 or 7 spins, chosen at random. Only Collector, Coin and Reward symbols appear during these spins, so every spin is focused on winning.
For players who want to get there sooner, Extra Chance doubles the chance of triggering the bonus for an extra 20% of the stake, without affecting winning combinations in the base game. Buy Feature takes players straight into the round.
Piotr Sałuda, Chief Product Officer at BF Games, said:
“Honey Beast is easy to explain and easy to remember. A clear Collector mechanic, a bonus round players can reach in more than one way and a 5,525x max win make it a title that operators can promote with confidence.”
