Your RevShare Rate Looks Good. Can You Tell Which Traffic Earned It?

Two sources are running. One brings in 100 FTDs, the other 60. Which one gets more budget?
I’d want to see qualified FTDs, NGR, and what those players do after their first deposit before making that call. Here’s the short version of what to check in an affiliate program’s tracking and analytics.
Registrations look great on a slide. Before I put more money behind a source, I want to open its sub-ID report and see how many FTDs qualified, what NGR came in, and what I earned. A signup count alone won’t get another cent of my budget.
Find out how events reach your tracker. Pixel tracking relies on browser signals, which browser restrictions or ad blockers can block. An S2S postback sends a confirmed event between servers. Ask which events it sends, how quickly they arrive, and how the program spots failed postbacks. Those details matter when you’re paying for traffic and making decisions while a campaign is live.
Look past the daily FTD count. Cohort reports show how players acquired at different times behave over the following weeks and months. Pair that with NGR by source, and you can see whether a campaign keeps producing value after its initial conversions. If you work in Keitaro, Binom, or Voluum, check whether API access or data exports fit your workflow too.
Before you send volume, put these questions to your affiliate manager:
Which events are available through postback: registrations, FTDs, QFTDs, repeat deposits?
How often do the stats update?
Can sub-IDs be traced from click to conversion?
Where can you see NGR, deductions, and commission calculations?
How are postback failures detected?
A polished dashboard is boss. A dashboard that helps you decide where tomorrow’s budget goes? That’s the one I want on my desk.
What makes you pause a campaign: a mismatch between your tracker and the program dashboard, delayed postbacks, or missing NGR data? Tell me how you check your numbers before you scale.
