Key features of the Nevis licence discussed include:

• Fast-track processing with responses typically within 6–10 weeks for legitimate applicants through a streamlined portal and multi-checkpoint due diligence.

• Zero taxes on gaming operations, with the government's focus on job creation, economic diversification, and long-term growth rather than revenue extraction.

• High barriers to entry to exclude unsuitable operators, annual licence renewals with continuous monitoring, and strong emphasis on player protection and responsible gaming.

• Flexible requirements: no mandatory local director, acceptance of global banking arrangements, and only a registered agent needed in the jurisdiction.

Premier Brantley described the initiative as a commitment to building a "gold-standard" jurisdiction that learns from the successes and challenges of established markets, prioritising trust, efficiency, and international best practices. He personally attended industry events to demonstrate Nevis's seriousness in attracting reputable operators in online casinos, sports betting, poker, and related sectors.
