Bally's Corporation is a global casino-entertainment company with a growing omni-channel presence. It currently owns and manages 15 casinos across 10 states, a golf course in New York, a horse racetrack in Colorado, and has access to OSB licenses in 18 states. With 10,600 employees, the Company's casino operations include approximately 15,300 slot machines, 580 table games and 3,800 hotel rooms. Upon completing the construction of a permanent casino facility in Chicago, IL, and a land-based casino near the Nittany Mall in State College, PA, Bally's will own and/or manage 16 casinos across 11 states. Bally’s also has rights to developable land in Las Vegas post the closure of the Tropicana.
Well, what about the team?
As a Stores Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth and compliant operation of the Food & Beverage department. Your primary responsibility will be managing bar and kitchen stock, ensuring deliveries are handled correctly, stock is well maintained, and all storage areas meet Health & Safety and food safety standards.
You will work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager, suppliers, and contractors to maintain high standards of organisation, compliance, and operational efficiency. Your attention to detail, organisation skills, and proactive approach will be key to success in this role.
Please note, Bally’s operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and flexibility is required, including some early mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
So, what will you be doing?
- Accepting, checking, and signing for deliveries in line with company procedures
- Placing deliveries in the correct storage locations, following Health & Safety and food safety regulations
- Managing and maintaining bar and kitchen stock levels
- Ensuring correct stock rotation (FIFO) and monitoring use-by and best-before dates
- Completing regular stock takes and supporting accurate stock control
- Placing orders as required and liaising with the F&B Manager on stock requirements
- Working closely with suppliers and contractors, including resolving delivery queries
- Reporting maintenance issues and equipment faults to relevant contractors and following up where necessary
- Supporting beer line cleaning schedules and ensuring compliance with standards
- Keeping all storage areas clean, tidy, well organised, and audit-ready
- Maintaining accurate stock records and reporting discrepancies or issues
- Working collaboratively with the Food & Beverage management and operational teams
And what are we looking for?
- Previous experience in a stores, stock control, warehouse, or hospitality-based role (desirable)
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety and food hygiene regulations
- Good organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Confident communication skills when dealing with suppliers and contractors
- A proactive, reliable, and problem-solving approach
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage physical tasks
- Basic IT skills and experience with stock systems is desirable
- Must be 18 years of age or over to meet legal requirements
