At Aristocrat, we aim to bring happiness to life through play, and we invite you to join our dynamic team as a Senior Technical Artist. In this role you will shape the future of our Unity based mobile title. You will be the go-to authority leading the implementation of visual features, bridging the gap between art and engineering. You will play a key role in evolving the tech art team’s tooling and workflows, demonstrating your deep understanding of the graphics pipeline, mobile optimization, and software development
principles.
Work mode: hybrid – 3 days per week from the Wave Office in Gdansk or Unity Office in Krakow.
What You'll DoBe the escalation point for all technical art implementation ensuring guidelines are used in asset creation.
Implement and maintain detailed visual build standards using industry-standard tools like Photoshop and Illustrator.
Collaborate closely with developers and artists to implement new features and UI designs.
Apply your expertise in Unity, particularly with Unity UI and Unity Animations, to improve our game features.
Manage source control and development tools to ensure efficient project workflows.
Drive technical solutions to achieve high visual fidelity while balancing the hardware limitations of target mobile platforms.
Identify the opportunities for, and create the custom tooling required to empower the technical art team.
Support Junior TAs on boarding and training
Confirmed experience working on social or mobile titles.
Translate UI designs, implementing them within Unity to be both functional and responsive
Familiar with Unity animation.
Awareness of Unity graphic pipeline and graphic performance fundamentals.
Programing fundamentals on C# , OOP and software development principles.
Proficient in project management, git, git flow.
Able to create art assets
Good level of ability with vfx/particle effects.
Knowledge of shaders
Advantage: Knowledge of 3D
Outstanding problem-solving abilities and adaptability to work with ambiguity.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate across teams.
