    What You’ll Be Driving:

    • Full-cycle JDG bookkeeping (5+ years’ scope): Maintain books (KPiR/ryczałt), month-end close, reconciliations, and year-end processes for multiple sole proprietors;

    • Client onboarding & registrations: Register Polish JDG (including for Ukrainian citizens (UKR/residence card)), obtain necessary IDs/registrations, and guide clients through formalities;

    • Authority liaison: Handle day-to-day communication with Urząd Skarbowy (US)/Tax Office, GUS (statistics), and other institutions; track correspondence and deadlines;

    • Individual tax rulings (KIS): Prepare and submit well-argued requests for Individual Tax Interpretations; manage timelines and responses;

    • Audit & inspections: Support and represent clients during checks/audits; prepare documentation packages and implement corrective actions;

    • Ryczałt (lump-sum) advisory: Verify business activity codes, select/confirm optimal ryczałt rates, and document rationale; monitor changes affecting rates;

    • VAT lifecycle management: Register VAT/VAT-UE, assess VAT/VAT-UE necessity, analyse and monitor VAT thresholds/limits, and maintain ongoing compliance;

    • ZUS optimisation: Review eligibility and apply ZUS reliefs; manage transitions between relief schemes and ensure correct contributions;

    • Statutory filings: Check, sign, and submit monthly ZUS declarations; prepare and file annual PIT-28/PIT-36 returns and other required reports;

    • Tax payment control: Review prepared tax calculations for each JDG, confirm payable amounts and dates, and ensure timely settlements;

    • Team collaboration: Drive cross-functional teamwork, knowledge sharing, and workflow discipline across accounting, payroll, and operations.

    What Makes You a GR8 Fit:

    • 7+ years’ experience in full-cycle bookkeeping for Polish sole proprietorships (JDG/ФОП);

    • University degree in Accounting;

    • Proven track record registering JDG (incl. for Ukrainian citizens with UKR status / residence cards);

    • Solid experience of Polish tax & social security: PIT, VAT (incl. JPK_V7, VAT-UE), ryczałt rules, ZUS (contributions, reliefs, transitions);

    • Experience in providing accounting service to JDG in IT sector;

    • Accounting software: experience with leading Polish systems;

    • Excel/Google Sheets: professional skills;

    • Communication skills: clear guidance to JDG owners; ability to explain complex tax topics simply;

    • Detail orientation & ownership: accuracy under deadlines; proactive risk/threshold monitoring (VAT, ZUS, revenue limits);

    • Problem-solving & judgment: selecting/confirming ryczałt rates; escalation when formal tax advice is required;

    • Team leadership & collaboration: cross-functional coordination and vendor/subcontractor management;

    • Languages: Polish, English Intermediate or higher, Ukrainian or Russian.
