Senior DevOps Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with deep knowledge of NGINX and OpenResty to join our growing team at BrainRocket. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love working with infrastructure, and know how to tune systems for top performance — we want to meet you!

✅ What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Minimum 5 years of experience with Linux systems

• Proven expertise in NGINX and OpenResty (including compound request handling principles)

• Solid understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, and web server caching mechanisms

• Proficiency in Bash and/or Python for scripting and automation

• Working knowledge of Lua

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus)

• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Proactive attitude and continuous learning mindset

✅ What You’ll Be Doing

• Design, configure, and maintain NGINX and OpenResty setups for high-traffic systems

• Optimize server performance for scalability and security

• Monitor, diagnose, and resolve performance and security issues

• Collaborate with engineering and security teams to ensure robust and secure infrastructure

• Stay current with NGINX/OpenResty developments and implement improvements

• Document infrastructure and configuration standards for internal use
