Are you ready to be the driving force behind a high-performing Compliance team? As our Senior Compliance Officer you will ensure full compliance with Spanish regulatory requirements. In this pivotal role you will support day-to-day compliance activities, manage reporting and monitoring obligations, maintain effective communication with the regulator and senior management.

This role will be based in either Gibraltar or Ceuta, depending on which office is most commutable for you.
So, what will you be doing?
- Ensure full compliance with Spanish gambling legislation, licence conditions, and regulatory guidelines, including ongoing liaison with the DGOJ.
- Lead licensing administration, renewals, and due diligence processes, supporting new product and vertical expansions.
- Own and execute the Compliance Monitoring Programme (CMP), identifying, assessing, and mitigating compliance risks and potential breaches.
- Support and coordinate internal and external regulatory audits, including biennial audits.
- Oversee Responsible Gambling and player protection frameworks, including self-exclusion, cooling-off measures, joint deposit limits, and at-risk player monitoring.
- Collaborate closely with AML and MLRO functions to support CDD and AML compliance requirements.

Experience:
- Demonstrated ability to interpret, implement, and ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements, licence conditions, and technical specifications in highly regulated environments.
- Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders, ensuring the business remains informed through clear reporting, agreed KPIs, and timely compliance insights.
- Structured and risk-based approach, with the ability to manage routine assessments and respond effectively to unforeseen or high-risk scenarios.
- Proven capability to build and maintain strong, transparent relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders, including regulators and partners, through clear and professional communication.

- Quick learner and ability to take on board added responsibility.
- Ability to work on own initiative and prioritize effectively.
- Exceptional knowledge of MS Office Suite: SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook.
- Attention to detail especially maintaining records accurately
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English
