What the role entails
Main task is to setup, administer and support our e-gaming platform infrastructure as well as providing technical assistance.
Administer the day-to-day operational tasks for our IT Infrastructure.
Maintain and administer servers, virtual machines, networks and related computing environments including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations on both physical and cloud environments.
Perform disaster recovery operations and data backups when required.
Protect data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning and implementing security measures.
Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolving hardware, software, and other systems problems.
Replace faulty components when required.
Maintain, configure, and monitor all the various infrastructure components.
Monitor systems performance to determine if adjustments need to be made.
Confer with users about solving existing system problems.
Operate master consoles to monitor the performance of the systems.
Coordinate systems access and use.
Design, configure and test software, hardware, cloud and operating system software.
What we ask of you
- Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years in infrastructure engineering or IT support.
- Developing Others: Ability to assist and guide users and team members.
- Agility: Strong capability to adapt to diverse technical challenges.

- Accountability: Track record of maintaining system reliability and security.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to design and configure infrastructure solutions.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with servers, VMs, networks, and cloud platforms.
- Leadership: Basic experience collaborating with users and teams.
- Communication: Good skills for troubleshooting and user coordination.
Requirements:
- Has to have good working knowledge of cloud technologies (ideally AWS)
- Has to have good working knowledge of Infrastructure as a code (IaC)
- Has to have server side knowledge (sys admin background would be great) (domain joining, subnetting, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
- Good troubleshooting and investigative skills
Preferences:
- Azure knowledge would be a plus
- Background in security, or at least has worked on tasks / projects which are security related
- Has worked on projects before and understands the concept of timelines and keeping work up-to-date
