    Job Description

    Easygo is the Australian technology powerhouse behind global brands Stake, KICK, and Twist Gaming. Following the successful launch of our Belgrade office—which has already scaled to over 10 engineers—we’re now hiring our first dedicated Finance Manager in Serbia.

    This is a rare opportunity to build and own the local finance function from the ground up. You’ll lead the transition from an external accounting model to an internal finance operation, working closely with our global finance team in Melbourne while shaping how finance operates locally.

    The Role

    As Finance Manager, you will take end-to-end ownership of finance operations in Serbia, ensuring strong governance, accurate reporting, and full alignment with Easygo’s group standards.

    You’ll play a critical role in establishing processes, systems, and controls for a growing tech organization—acting as the local finance authority and a trusted partner to both local and global stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities

    • End-to-End Finance Ownership: Manage day-to-day finance operations for the Serbian entity, including oversight of accounting, reporting, and treasury activities.
    • Build the Function: Establish and maintain accounting systems, policies, and procedures in line with Group policy, accounting standards, and Serbian legal requirements.
    • Reporting & Controls: Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting to the Melbourne HQ.
    • Compliance & Tax: Own local regulatory compliance, including tax filings, exemptions, audits, and coordination with external advisors.
    • Cash & Planning: Manage cash flow, working capital, budgeting, and financial planning to support business growth.
    • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the key liaison between local teams, external consultants, auditors, and the global finance organization.
    • Transition from External Providers: Gradually bring finance ownership in-house as the business scales, while maintaining strong governance and controls.

    Who You Are

    • Experienced Finance Professional: Minimum 7 years of financial accounting experience, ideally CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent).
    • Tech / SaaS Background: Experience in software development, SaaS, IT, audit, or advisory environments is highly valued.
    • Strong Technical Foundation: Solid knowledge of financial control, accounting standards, reporting, and compliance.
    • Autonomous & Hands-On: Comfortable being the first finance hire locally and operating with a high level of ownership.
    • Clear Communicator: Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate confidently with international stakeholders.
