Job Description
Come support Bally's Casino Cafe and Grill by serving guests in a fun friendly environment. While ensuring the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation and keeping up to date with the new products, recipes, and preparation techniques.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Expertise to prepare all menu items across all property venues.
- Able to estimate the daily production needs and checking the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met.
- Helps with food delivery check in for quality and quantity.
- Ensure proper freezer and stock labeling and rotation on food items/ingredients.
- Ensures all standardized recipes are utilized and followed.
- Adhere to all food safety procedures and guidelines.
- Opens shifts and prepares the venue for planned volumes.
- Coordinates daily tasks with the Executive Chef/Sous Chef.
- Covers off days for Executive Chef/Sous Chef.
- Ensure effective communication between staff by maintaining a secure and friendly working environment.
- Follows the instructions and recommendations from the immediate superiors to complete the daily tasks.
- Must lift and move 40-50 pounds.
- Must work required shifts, including weekends/holidays
- Maintain and set sanitation, hygiene, and safety standards.
- Enforce strict health and hygiene standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
- May be responsible for cashier responsibilities, if assigned to a mobile/QSR outlet.
Salary: $20 (there is currently a weekly incentive program, which could add $400 a week!)
