    Are you ready to be the driving force behind a high-performing Compliance team? As our Compliance Officer you will ensure full compliance with Spanish regulatory requirements. In this pivotal role you will  support day-to-day compliance activities, manage reporting and monitoring obligations, maintain effective communication with the regulator and senior management.

    We’re looking for someone who’s not only detail-oriented but also passionate about compliance and frameworks.     This role will be based in either Gibraltar or Ceuta, depending on which office is most commutable for you.

     

    So, what will you be doing?

    • Conduct the testing for the Compliance Monitoring Program (“CMP”) designed to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policy and procedure requirements and best practice.
    • Provide day to day support to the business on any issues or queries around compliance and regulation.
    • Participate and/or lead in all licensing administration and due diligence projects.
    • Ensure that sub-contracted, outsourced, subsidiaries and partners are maintaining the highest standards for all compliance related activities and if not, ensure that immediate corrective action are in place.
    • Work closely with the AML, Marketing Compliance, Data Protection and Social Responsibility teams.
    • Assist in monitoring and maintaining policies, procedures, and internal guidance in relations to AML, Social Responsibility, Marketing & Advertising, and licensing.

     

    And what will you need?

    Experience: 

    • Exposure to compliance with regulatory requirements/specifications.
    • Experience collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure we are keeping the business informed via agreed KPIs.
    • You have used a structured approach to third party due diligence where situations are managed and occasionally reacted to due to unforeseen circumstances.
    • You have improved relationships and communication with internal and external stakeholders

    • Outstanding problem solving and analytical thinking.
    • Exceptional time and priorities management skills.
    • Quick learner and ability to take on board added responsibility.
    • Ability to work on own initiative and prioritize effectively.
    • Exceptional knowledge of MS Office Suite: SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook.
    • Attention to detail especially maintaining records accurately
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English
